At I AM 1112 – I AM Birthing Support Circle, awareness is a free service — because every family deserves to know what they are entitled to. We partner with OB-GYNs (Obstetricians-Gynecologists), midwives, FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers), and community health clinics to bring that awareness directly to your patients at no cost to your practice or the families you serve. Through our provider education partnerships, we inform patients about their available benefits — including certified doula services, perinatal mental health therapy, healing arts programming, and Care Navigation support. We proudly serve families covered by Medi-Cal (California's Medicaid program), private insurance, and those choosing to invest in their care through private pay. Most families simply never knew these services were within reach. When a patient is ready, our services integrate seamlessly alongside your care — with doula billing handled under our own Organizational NPI (National Provider Identifier) and 30-day care summaries returned directly to you. Awareness is where the circle begins. We provide it freely, because every family — regardless of how they are covered — deserves to be held from prenatal through long after birth.

​Connecting with I AM 1112 is simple. Families can reach us by phone, walk-in, or provider referral — however feels most comfortable. From the very first contact, you are welcomed into the full circle of care. Our intake team takes the time to understand your needs, confirm your coverage — whether Medi-Cal, private insurance, or private pay — and walk you through every service available to you. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is assumed. You are introduced to your care team, your benefits are activated, and your journey is mapped from that very first conversation. By the time you leave intake, you already know who will be walking alongside you — your PA-C (Physician Assistant — Certified), your Care Manager, your certified doula, and your I AM Village. Intake is not paperwork. It is the moment the circle opens and welcomes you in.

Clinical Care That Sees the Whole You

Your PA-C (Physician Assistant — Certified) visit is a value-added appointment scheduled between your regular OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) visits — designed to deepen your care, not duplicate it. Our Clinical Director collaborates directly with your OB, gathering the details of your care so that everything we provide is perfectly aligned with your existing treatment. From there, your visit is comprehensive and unhurried. She conducts a full perinatal evaluation, administers the EPDS (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) screening to support your emotional wellbeing, and if additional mental health support is identified, a therapist is assigned right away. This visit is also where your I AM 1112 experience truly opens up. Your PA-C takes the time to introduce you to every supportive service available to you — meditations, sound bath, breathwork, journaling, sound healing, intentional ceremony, and practitioner sessions — and begins identifying which of those will serve you best on your personal journey. You leave with a care plan that is entirely your own and a team already moving around you.

Care That Wraps Around You Completely

Once your clinical visit is complete, your Care Manager becomes the steady hand that holds everything together. This is where your I AM 1112 experience becomes fully personal. Your Care Manager sits with you to build out your complete care plan — confirming your doula assignment, scheduling your healing modalities including meditations, sound bath, breathwork, journaling, sound healing, intentional ceremony, and practitioner sessions, and ensuring every appointment is in place between your OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) visits. But care management at I AM 1112 goes beyond scheduling. Your Care Manager navigates any social needs standing between you and a healthy pregnancy — housing, food, transportation, and benefits enrollment — so that nothing outside the clinic becomes a barrier to the care inside it. They screen for past hardships, connect families to safety planning when needed, and ensure partners are included and engaged throughout the journey. Every service you were introduced to at intake and during your PA-C (Physician Assistant — Certified) visit is now activated, coordinated, and moving around you. You are not managing your care alone. We are managing it with you — so that by the time your baby arrives, every layer of support is already in place.

Your Doula — Present for Every Moment That Matters

Your certified doula is assigned through I AM 1112 and walks with you from pregnancy through the earliest weeks of your baby's life — and beyond. It begins with a discovery call where your doula takes the time to truly know you — your birth preferences, your postpartum needs, your hopes, and your concerns. From there, a minimum of two prenatal sessions are scheduled to build your personalized birth plan together, with a focus on advocacy, comfort, and physiological support. Your doula educates you on labor stages, comfort measures including breathing and counter-pressure techniques, medical terminology you will hear in the hospital, and breastfeeding and chestfeeding basics. Beginning at 36 weeks, your doula is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ready to be by your side the moment labor begins. During labor and birth, she provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support — acting as your bridge to the medical team and ensuring your birth plan is honored every step of the way. She stays through the first two hours after birth, supporting initial feeding and protecting your golden hour. In the days and weeks that follow, your doula returns — assessing your recovery, providing newborn care education, supporting breastfeeding, and offering light household support so that rest remains your priority. Overnight restoration visits ensure your family is held even through the night. And at six weeks, your doula closes your care chapter by inviting you fully into the I AM Village — where the community that held you through birth continues to hold you in life.

It is where your personal I AM affirmation is born — a declaration of your own strength, written in your own words, carried with you through birth and beyond. At six weeks, when your clinical care closes, the Village doors open wider. At six months and twelve months, we check in — because we believe that a family's wellbeing does not have an expiration date. The I AM Village is how awareness becomes belonging, how a care journey becomes a life community, and how one family's story of being held becomes the reason the next family walks through our door.
